There have been a lot of discussions/recommendations telco companies offer minute based billing instead of the current “$” capped plans. Unfortunately it’s never been offered, the reason is simple – they want to make plans appear attractive therefore keep profit margin. Recently I’ve seen trend that some companies start offering information about “x minute standard national call rate”, this is a step forward that makes rates comparison easier., if possible. However there are still things to bear in mind:
1. How often do you make a 2-minute call?
2. What about connection fee?
3. What calls are included and excluded.
Basically those are still the old questions you need to find out yourself, the “x minute standard national call rate” offers you something, but really it’s not that good enough!
