I have to admit I’m not a fan of Microstrategy, the main reason is its rich features are buried in various places at the corner of tiny configuration items. For example I created a metric using CaseV

CaseV(mtrFYear, 2013, 16.33, 2014, 14.2, 2015, 12.2, 2016, 10.2, 2017, 8.0, 0.0)

When I put this metric into report, it doesn’t show decimal places even I “format” the numbers with 2 decimal places. Googled a lot and finally came to one tiny advice – to tick “Smart Metric” and then problem solved! But why smart metric?!
